Hi All, Yet again I have been making some changes to my home set up, this time out of choice and not because of hardware failures, which is nice. At work a lot of people have a media centre setup (we are all techies...) and some have a Windows Home Server 2o11 box running too. Hi All. Well I have had my HTC Titan for a month now and so I thought I would do a post to let you know how I am getting on, what my thoughts are and recommendations etc. Up until now I have been an Android person, and never really considered that I would get on with anything else. Forza 4 The Very Late Release Post

Hi All, Ok this post is very late after the release of the game but I have been busy and not found it easy to sit and just write a post.. don't know why but when I started to wrote the words just wouldn't flow how they should and the post never happened. Mobile Upgrade Time !!

Hi All, Well it is nearly time for my o2 contract to end. Its been a good 24 months... started on Windows Phone 6.5 on and HTC HD2 and then updated that to run Android, this then got lost one a drunken night out and I got a Dell Streak 5 when I claimed on the insurance which was Android and a very nice phone, even if massive as was pointed out by a few of my work colleagues. The Mystery of Irma Vep

Well as some you may know if you follow my twitter or have read some of my earlier posts that I am a volunteer sound engineer for a local theatre, I am currently part of a production call The Mystery of Irma Vep.  Its a comedy / mystery story where the master of a house has just got remarried after his previous wife was murdered (crash of thundthunder) the previous wife kept a wolf as a pet that was blamed for the murder and can he heard howling. Minecraft on Ubuntu, How hard can it be ………. !?

Hi all Well I am playing with Ubuntu, I don't play games on my laptop any more, it's used for web and Minecraft, I have started playing with Linux at work and so I thought I would put it on the laptop again so I can learn as much as I can. I thought Minecraft being Java based wouldn't be too much hassle to get going.... How wrong was I !!!  Turns out there are issues between Java and the ATI propriatary drivers, if i use a standard OpenSource driver the laptop fans so nuts and Minecraft works, but with ATI drivers in place fans are calm, but no Minecraft, the game would launch, you hit login Read more [...]

2 Months to go till F1 2011 !!!

Well its nearly time again for another F1 release, this time its F1 2011.

It’s got some brilliant new features, you get to play with KERS, DRS, and current tires with wear !!

On top of this, there is also a new online mode, you can play through the championship with a friend as team mate !!

Online races now have 24 cars, up to 16 real people and the rest of the field is made of AI so you always have a full race.

Well it seems google have taken another step to taking over the world. this time they have their eye’s on your music collection. Basically the way it works is youupload all your music into Google Land (you can have 30000 songs) once there it is safe with them and you then get an app for your phone, app on your computer etc. and you can stream your music to your device. Means you can get your music on your phone and where ever you are without the need to sync stuff as it is all online. Hi All, Well as I said I would here is a post about Dirt 3, I have played it a bit now and have finished the first season so am beginning to get the hang of it all. It has taken a lot of getting used to compared with Dirt 2 that was pretty much pick it up and go. There is a hell of a lot of new content that wasn't in Dirt 2, from new track locations like Finland and Africa to new events like Drift and Gymkhana, the graphics have had a massive over haul on the last game as well as how the cars control and react to surroundings like road surface, water, jumps etc. One of my big issues was the Read more [...]

Hi all,

Just a quick update to say DIRT3 TOMORROW  !! I have it downloading now can’t wait !! kinda wish I had taken the day off now !!!!   

I will do a proper update for this later, as well as a few other bits I need to post about Minecraft and 3D.
